As of December 31, 2008, the Company, through its subsidiaries, owned, leased, managed, or franchised 4,186 hotels and 619,851 guest rooms in approximately 100 countries worldwide. The Company’s brands include InterContinental Hotels & Resorts (InterContinental), Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts (Crowne Plaza), Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts (Holiday Inn), Holiday Inn Express (Express by Holiday Inn outside of the Americas), Staybridge Suites, Candlewood Suites and Hotel Indigo. IHG also manages the hotel loyalty program, Priority Club Rewards. During the year ended December 31, 2008, the Company disposed of the Holiday Inn Jamaica.
