Intersil Corporation (Intersil) designs, develops, manufactures and markets high-performance analog integrated circuits (ICs). The Company’s product portfolio addresses some of the applications in four end markets: high-end consumer, industrial, communications and computing. During the fiscal year ended January 2, 2009 (fiscal 2008), Intersil derived 52% of its revenues from original equipment manufacturer (OEM) customers, original design manufacturer (ODM) customers and contract manufacturers. The Company derived 48% of its revenues through distributors and value added resellers.
