The investment seeks to provide high current income and capital appreciation. The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in bonds and 65% of assets in high-quality (AA or better) foreign bonds. It may invest up to 20% of assets in below investment-grade, high-risk bonds, including those in default or with the lowest rating. The fund may invest up to 20% of assets in dollar-denominated foreign bonds such as Brady and other emerging market bonds. It is nondiversified.
