Overview
The investment seeks capital appreciation; income is a secondary consideration. The Fund invests in a combination of Franklin Templeton mutual funds (underlying funds) on fixed percentage basis. These underlying funds, in turn, invest primarily in U.S. and foreign equity securities, and, to a lesser extent, fixed-income and money market securities. It makes equal allocations of its assets to the following three underlying funds: Franklin Income Fund, Mutual Shares Fund and Templeton Growth Fund.
