Evergreen Precious Metals A (EKWAX)

The investment seeks long-term capital growth and protection of purchasing power of capital. Obtaining current income is a secondary objective. The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in equity securities of companies that are engaged in, or which receive at least 50% of their revenue from, the exploration, development, mining, processing, or dealing in precious metals and minerals. It may invest up to 25% of assets, in debt securities linked to precious metals and common or preferred stocks of wholly owned subsidiaries of the fund that invest in precious metals and minerals. The fund is nondiversified.
