The investment seeks capital appreciation. The fund primarily invests in a diversified portfolio of equity securities of companies that above-average future growth potential relative to their peers. It invests in companies of all sizes traded on any stock exchange in the United States without regard to the market capitalization. The fund normally invests in domestic companies, but also may invest in securities of foreign issuers. The fund may invest up to 20% of total assets in fixed-income or debt securities with a minimum credit quality of investment-grade. It typically holds 20 to 50 equity investments. The fund is nondiversified.
